Overview

0Cr25Al5 is a high-performance iron-chromium-aluminum alloy (Fe-Cr-Al) designed for high-temperature electric heating applications. With 25% chromium (Cr), 5% aluminum (Al), and balanced iron (Fe) plus trace rare earth elements, it offers exceptional oxidation resistance, high resistivity, and extended service life, widely used in industrial heating elements, household appliances, and precision thermal control systems.
Superior High-Temperature Performance
Maximum continuous service temperature: 1400℃
Short-term tolerance: 1500℃
Forms protective Al₂O₃ oxide layer for oxidation resistance
Excellent Electrical Properties
Resistivity: 1.45±0.05 μΩ·m (20℃)
Low temperature coefficient ensures stable power output
Enhanced Mechanical Properties
Elongation: ≥12% (room temperature)
Tensile strength: ≥650 MPa
Maintains creep resistance at elevated temperatures
- Industrial furnace heating wires/ribbons
- Core components in water heaters & ovens
- PTC heaters for new energy vehicles
- Laboratory high-temperature equipment
Avoid rapid thermal cycling below 800℃
Recommend protective sleeves in sulfur/halogen environments
Allow thermal expansion clearance during installation
Maintain dry storage for long-term preservation
